About

I always know the next step. I teach people to find theirs.

I'm Rukevwe Agbro, a Senior IT Project Manager. I've spent eight years delivering IT projects for large organisations, and I've trained more than 2,000 people moving into IT from other careers.

Why COOs?

Some of my biggest training sessions had around 300 people in them: care workers, nurses, administrators, all moving into IT and project management. Most already had more project experience than they realised. What held them back wasn't the methodology. It was how they talked about their work.

The PMs who get the offer, earn the sponsor's trust and get promoted all do one thing differently. They think like a COO: about cost, risk, trade-offs and what the organisation needs next. The process is their evidence, not their headline.

I learned that the hard way. On a global initiative I led, we cut future costs by 90%. For a long time I told that story starting with the plan. When I started with the result, people leaned in.

What I bring

  • 8 years as an IT project manager, still delivering today
  • 2,000+ people trained into IT and project management roles
  • PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner, with Agile, Waterfall and PRINCE2 delivery behind me
  • Author of the book Now That You Are a Project Manager

What I won't do

I don't write CVs or interview answers for anyone. I coach you to build your own, because answers that belong to you hold up under follow-up questions.

Other ways I help

If you're starting a business and have more ideas than direction, I also run clarity sessions: we prioritise, simplify and agree your next three steps. Book a call and mention it in the booking form.
